Earth Beat

Thou art the beauty of creation, oh! dear mother,

vital to existence, you are like no other.

Valves and valleys, canyons and plains-

with rivers cutting through the rough terrains.

Hues of red and gushes of green,

pulsing with people, both rushed and serene.

While the rain soaks the sun that was shining its ray,

volcanoes erupt leaving fissures on the way.

When to the harrowing depths you keenly **listen

and the voice from *silent has slowly risen,

**the eyes-*they see, to savour this present.

This urn keeps affections small and tall,

but worse might be the pain to feel nothing at all.

Cos when its broken, hardly matters what it we call,

**earth or *heart, we must never maul.

That is all ye know on earth,

and all ye need to know.

NOTE:

(** & * are ANAGRAMS of each other)
